The delivery was very fast and product in excellent shape. Yes, a classic and though outdated with examples, Gordon Allport's sociological and psychological research and insights say it all. However, chapter 13, 'Theories of Prejudice' and chapter 16, 'The Effect of Contact' are most appropriate lessons for today. It has been said, this is the authoritative work on the topic and I believe it is true.
This book was purchased for a graduate class of mine. It is very interesting, appealing, and teaches so much on social issues revolving racism. I was intrigued the entire time, while angered at the social injustices mentioned. I highly recommend this book.
This is one of the most important books of the 20 Century and should be mandatory for all schools in America, private or public in my opinion. Great work.
